Passionate residents are voicing their concerns over the Port Colborne Quarrys future. There is a proposal to fill a portion of the quarry with construction materials. The Quarry, located on Highway 140, is owned by a division of the Rankin Construction company.

The group, Niagara Water Protection Alliance voiced their concerns about Rankin Constructions plans to fill a portion of the Quarry on Highway 140. The construction company owns the quarries.
